I have not been updating the website as I am wondering whether to continue with it as it is not very popular. But having decided that I will, I just need to make a few edits to the website. I will be working on the edits over the next few days and hopefully the new site will open later this week (on Friday?)

X Factor Queen Theme Confirmed

It has recently been confirmed that this week's X Factor theme is Queen. This means that the remaining seven hopefuls will perform tracks from Queen's back catalogue on Saturday night's live show. Presenter Glenda Gilson revealed the theme on the Irish programme Xposé recently. She said: "Queen is the theme for next week, so I think it is 'Radio Ga Ga' for [John & Edward]." Queen are a band famous for their songs which include the likes of 'Show Must Go On' and 'We Are The Champions'. Wikipedia writes this about Queen: 'Queen were an English rock band which formed in London in 1970 following the demise of the band Smile. Queen consisted of vocalist Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor. The band became popular with audiences through their hit singles, live performances, originality and showmanship; and in 2007 were voted the greatest British band ever in a national BBC poll.' But which Queen songs will the remaining acts sing? Seven acts remain in The X Factor and this weekend they battle it out to stay in the competition. Queen night is this Saturday night at 8:00pm, only on ITV 1.

The X Factor: The Result and The Xtra Factor Will Continue Tonight (Another Act Will Leave)

Today, Sunday the eighth of November, will see The X Factor and The Xtra Factor continue on ITV 1 and ITV 2. The acts battled it out for your vote last night. They were Dannii Minogue and the girls; Stacey Solomon and Lucie Jones. Cheryl Cole and the boys; Lloyd Daniels and Joe McElderry. Louis Walsh and the last of the groups; John & Edward. And Simon Cowell and the 25+; Olly Murs, Jamie Archer and Danyl Johnson. Each of the acts performed last night and now it's down to you, the British public, to pick the seven acts who should stay. You still have time to vote remember. The X Factor: The Result will tonight send another act home after Kandy Rain, Rikki Loney, Miss Frank and Rachel Adedeji were eliminated over the last four weeks. There will be live performances from The Black Eyed Peas and from former X Factor winner Leona Lewis. The X Factor will air tonight at 8:00pm and will be followed by Holly Willoughby's The Xtra Factor at 9:00pm. Make sure you don't let your favourite down. Lines will close during the main ITV 1 show. The numbers you need will be repeated during the show. The X Factor and The Xtra Factor shall then continue next weekend with an episode on Saturday and an episode on Sunday.

Britain's Got Talent Star Hollie Steel Hopes To Release A New Single or Album For Christmas

Could Hollie Steel be on your Christmas tree? Britain's Got Talent star Hollie Steel has revealed that she is planning to release a single or an album in time for Christmas. The eleven year old, who became famous after making it through to the final of Britain's Got Talent's third series, hopes to compete against the X Factor winner in the charts. The Sun newspaper claims that the young singer has already recorded an album after school and at weekends, which has been funded by the money she earnt on the Britain's Got Talent tour. The record is expected to be released online before the end of the year, but Hollie's mum hopes to put it in the shops, currently looking to get a producer to help them get the single or album in the shops in time for the festive season. Hollie's mum Nina Steel said: "We're doing this for her because it's what she wants to do and she's got all these songs she wants everybody to hear. It's a really special experience for an 11-year-old to go into a recording studio, but she just takes it in her stride and is still the same Hollie." Cheryl Cole Offered A Place In Upcoming Fifth Series of Doctor Who According to The Mirror

According to The Mirror X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been offered a guest spot in the next series of Doctor Who. For those of you who don't know Cheryl Cole (shame on you), she is a singer (both solo and as part of Girls Aloud) and she is also a judge on the countries top talent search, The X Factor. She has worked hard to this day to make her one of the most famous people in the country and one of the few names on everybody's lips. If the sources are to be believed the BBC want the British sensation in the TARDIS alongside new Doctor Matt Smith. The talk is of a cameo role but if she can act the star could be offered a longer part. A BBC spokesperson refused to confirm this speculation, saying: "The BBC will not be commenting on casting or storyline speculation for the new series of Doctor Who." Meanwhile another source seemed eager to speak saying: "If she can find the time, a part will be written for her." The fifth series of Doctor Who will broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD during Spring. But will Cheryl star or have we been misled? Would you like Cheryl in Doctor Who? After all she's one of the most loved females in the country. Getting her involved with Doctor Who would be great for the BBC show.

John & Edward's Performance of Ghostbusters on Saturday Night's Show Will Include Cowell

John and Edward Grimes will reportedly incorporate an image of Simon Cowell in their upcoming X Factor performance this Saturday. According to The Mirror, choreographer Brian Friedman will include the show boss in John & Edward's routine of Ghostbusters. The theme is music from the movies and Ghostbusters seems the most appropriate for the lively twins who enjoy a bit of a laugh. An X Factor source said: "Brian is working out if it is possible for Cowell to appear as a ghostly figure on stage, or whether someone can float onto the stage with a Cowell face mask on. The boys, dressed as Ghostbusters, will then exterminate the figure using lasers. The audience would love it and it might even bring a smile to the real Simon Cowell. Another idea was for Cowell to be 'slimed' but he wouldn't put up with that, and given that he is an executive producer on the show, he would veto that idea. But you can rest assured it will be another special performance from the twins. Many of the acts are doing ballads this week because of the movies theme, which means they won't move around too much. That leaves Brian even more time to work with the twins and create a chaotic three-minute act." The X Factor continues on Saturday evening.

Yesterday it was revealed that Sunday night's X Factor: The Result achieved 13.87 million viewers. Today the official figure for Saturday night's live performance show has been released. The X Factor: Live Show, which saw the nine acts, at this time including Rachel Adedeji, perform for your vote, pulled in a good 10.34 million viewers. This means that 10.34 million people tuned in to ITV 1 in order to watch Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue's atcs battle it out for a place in this weekend's show. However this is a lower rating than last week's figure for Big Band night. Meanwhile neighbouring programmes achieved no where near as many viewers. This Saturday's programme will see the remaining eight acts battle for your vote and then Sunday night's show will reveal which acts will be staying and which act will be leaving. There will also be live performances from former X Factor winner Leona Lewis and the Black Eyed Peas. But will Saturday's Movie night rating be as big as last Saturday's? Laura White, who made it to the live finals of The X Factor last year, has today, Monday the second of November, released her first track since leaving the show. Her new song is titled You Should Have Known and it was today released online, making it available on various websites and on iTunes. The new track has been anticipated for months by Laura's fans, making You Should Have Known the first track to be released by the former X Factor contestant. The single contains just the one song, whilst The single is available to purchase on iTunes now whilst the Oracle Radio Mix version contains three songs. The Oracle Radio Mix contains three versions of the song, being You Should Have Known Orcale Radio Mix, You Should Have Known Oracle Extended Vocal Mix and You Should Have Know Oracle Dub. JLS' Brand New Single, Everybody In Love, Now Available To Buy From Stores Across Britain

Today, Monday the second of November, has seen the official release of JLS' Everybody In Love single across Britain. Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan Gill and Oritsé Williams are the four guys who make the band who battled it through to second place on last year's X Factor, being beaten only by Alexandra Burke. The new single follows on from Beat Again and last night topped the singles chat knocking Cheryl Cole's Fight For This Love in to second. It seems that The X Factor is dominating the charts at the minute with JLS' Everybody In Love, Cheryl Cole's Fight For This Love and Alexandra Burke's Bad Boys all in the top ten. The single is available to purchase in stores now, with HMV selling it for £2.99 (with a free poster). iTunes has the single for £1.29, with Everybody In Love and Spell It Out available to purchase separately at 79p each. The track will be included in JLS' new album, which will be released in stores next Monday, along with Beat Again and new tracks. JLS performed Everybody In Love on last night's X Factor, in order to promote the new single. The next X Factor related star to release something is Leona Lewis, who will release Happy before her anticipated album, titled Echo.

The X Factor hit a series high last night, if the latest viewing figures are to be believed. The X Factor: The Result, which saw performances from Bon Jovi and last year's runners up JLS with Rachel sadly leaving the competition, pulled in a massive 13.87 million viewers. This was higher than the 13.38 million viewers last week who saw Miss Frank eliminated from the show. Meanwhile neighbouring channels achieved no where near as many ratings with BBC One's Antiques Roadshow achieving 5.72 million, BBC Two's Ray Mears' Northern Wilderness achieving 2.01 million and 1.52 million people watched Celebrity Come Dine With Me on Channel 4. The Xtra Factor, the programme which goes behind the scenes of The X Factor, was the most watched programme on the multichannel stations, drawing an impressive 1.63 million viewers. The X Factor will continue this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's programme will see the remaining eight acts battle for your vote and then on Sunday night's show it will be revealed which act will leave the competition for good. ITV 1 Will Broadcast A New Show Titled Inside Cheryl's World on December 12th This Year

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has impressed television bosses so much that she is to be given her own hour-long programme, titled Inside Cheryl's World. The show will most likely feature Cheryl performing and possibly chatting to the audience and special guests and it will be screened on ITV 1 on December the 12th, just before The X Factor's live Saturday evening show. Insiders say that the idea will be a test run and that if it proves to be popular they plan to give Cheryl her own television series next year. An ITV source said: "Cheryl is the name on everyone’s lips and TV bosses have been clamouring to sign her up for months. X Factor ratings have gone through the roof since she joined and prove viewers love her. The plan is to get her into the studio for her own show to see how she handles it, then find the right format to turn Cheryl into queen of the small screen." The idea does sound rather good and it seems that Cheryl is becoming more popular by the day with new adverts, a solo career and of course a return with Girls Aloud next year.
